1845

The Southern Baptist Convention forms a missionary organization to take the gospel out West.

1947

April 6, 1947 - Sunday School and Morning Worship Services were begun for the first time at our Church, with 19 in attendance. This was Easter Sunday, and after Church the mothers and children went to Valree Walker’s home for an egg hunt.

1960

June 26, 1960 - The education building (present fellowship hall) was damaged by fire. We used $6,000 of an insurance payment to repair and remodel.

1980

May 1980 - California Southern Baptist World Missions Conference was held in our Church. Average attendance was 54 per session. Two mission volunteers, Tanya and Brian Combs.
